Graffiti

The graffiti caught my eye along with the yellow and orange colors. I looked through camera, and noticed the intersecting roof lines.

Empty Train Station

Looking down an empty Main Street Station from one end to the other.

Steeple

I like how the church steeple shoots up from the bottom of the photo, and into the clouds.

Under the Freeway

The negative space around both underpasses caught my eye. I also like the steel beams versus the nature right below them.

Framing Study

The two pillars on each side make a great frame for the graffiti in the center of the photo.

Life of a Street Sign

A sticker was placed on the sign, painted over, and removed. A 2013 Richmond sticker was placed on the sign, and a screw was replaced because it was getting weak.

The Canal

I like how the sidewalk and canal lead your eyes into the photo.

Telephone Pole

I like the perspective of the telephone pole from this angle. It makes the pole look taller than it really is.

Under a Bridge

The mural looks natural and organic compared to the hard concrete and steel underpass.

Chair in the Sunlight

I love how the light in this photo casts the metal chair’s shadow onto the wooden fence.
